Work from home

The easiest way to work from home is to use webmail to retrieve your mail. Open https://webmail.faq.co.za/ from any internet-connected device or click below on the webmail logo:


Reason for this:

  • Webmail uses less data than normal mail programs because you only download file attachments & only the messages you want to read.
  • Deleted messages in webmail do not download to your computer.
  • Messages send with webmail will sync back to work computer once connected.


Setting up a new connection on your home computer?

  • Log into webmail with username & password
  • Scroll down to "Configure Mail Client" for instructions:
Username: your full email
Password: your password
Incoming Server: faqcloud.co.za
  • IMAP Port: 993
  • POP3 Port: 995
Outgoing Server: faqcloud.co.za
  • SMTP Port: 465

IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication.

If you do not know your password, send a Whatsapp message with your email address to 082 386 0982 and we will reply with your password. (Free service & the cell number used in the request will be logged for audit purposes)

Remote Support

If you have any problems with setting up your email at home you are welcome to log a service request for remote support.

  • Download Anydesk Remote Desktop & install.
  • Once installed the program will display your unique Anydesk ID number.
  • Send that ID number with your email address in a Whatsapp message to 082 386 0982 to request remote support.
  • As soon as we are ready to log in we will confirm the request.
  • To allow us to log in your computer must be connected to the internet & once we have logged in you must approve the request to gain full control of your computer ( without this approval no support can be provided).
  • Support requests will be billed to the domain owner and requests need to be approved by the domain owner before the support can take place.

Mailbox Full Warnings

Standard mailboxes provided by FAQ is 1Gb. If you get a mailbox full warning, please:

  • Delete email not needed.
  • Clear the email from your "Trash" folder.

Or request a mailbox upgrade to a Business Mail with 25Gb by Whatsapp message to 082 386 0982 "Upgrade {your email address} to Business Mail"

Business email is billed at R40 per mailbox per month and requests need to be approved by the domain owner before the upgrade can take place.
